Quantum theory interpretations

By following this link why-do-interpretations-of-quantum-physics-matter you will come to an interesting discussion about quantum theory interpretations. An interpretation is an attempt to describe what actually happens at a quantum interaction (event perhaps). The author of this post thinks that each interpretation may suggest experiments that other interpretations do not and are thus useful.

I am unimpressed by specific interpretations. I enjoyed the article thoroughly, though.

Beyond Falsifiability - Carroll

3quarksdaily: In praise of fallibility: why science needs philosophy

The following article makes an excellent case for philosophy being used in science.

There has been much discussion (and controversy) in science on whether string theory and multiverse theory are actually science. A recent pair of articles by Peter Woit (Not Even Wrong) and Sean Carrol (Preposterous Universe) have argued both sides. This article discusses what some experiments and observations are actually testing.
